Robbie King was in Australia already a successful youth player who qualified 2012 for the first time for the PDC Unicorn World Youth Championship. Over the years he took part four times in the event but always ended among the last 64. 2015 he stood in the quarterfinals of a Development Tour event and since that time plays with some success on the DPA Circuit. 2019 the PDC invited him to the Melbourne Darts Masters where he made his TV debut but had no chance at all against Rob Cross. In the same year King won the Oceanic Masters and by this qualified for the PDC World Championship 2020 where he will give his debut against Ryan Searle.
