Spaniard Christo Reyes won the Iberian Qualifier for the PDC World Championship 2015. He defeated Christian Perez easily in the preliminary round and then met Wes Newton in round one. The match was finally decided in a Sudden Death leg which Reyes won because he managed to keep his nerve despite the confusion whether to throw for the bull before the leg or not. Reyes went on to defeat Kevin Painter in second round next and as first Spanish player reached the third round of a PDC World Championship. There Gary Anderson - the later World Champion - proved to be too much for him. Due to his achievements in the World Championship Reyes got a Tour Card when Richie Burnett and Jarkko Komula didn't renew their Tour Cards.
Since than Reyes plays without real succes on the Pro Tour, qualified for every World Championshi and from time to time for other Major Events. He qualified for several European Tour events as well. He from time to time shows outstanding performances but so far he didn't made the breakthrough.
