PDC Home Tour - Group 6

Ryan Searle dominates Home Tour Group Six
Ryan Searle won Group Six of the Unibet Home Tour, as the innovative new tournament continued on Wednesday night.

Searle, a recent Players Championship event winner, produced one of the finest displays seen on the Home Tour so far as he produced back-to-back ton-plus averages in his final two games. A 5-1 defeat of Andy Boulton got Searle off to an ideal start, before he averaged 100.6 in a 5-3 win over top ranked player James Wade and then sealed the group win with a 103.3 average in a 5-2 victory over Adrian Gray, who was impaired by a dog and his collapsing tripod.
Andy Boulton impressed as well and ended after a 5:2 win over Adrian Gray and a 5:0 win against James Wade on the second place of the table.
James Wade only managed to get a win against Adrian Gray. Similar to Peter Wright Wade mentioned, it was difficult for him to play without the direct contact to his opponents. An unhappy Adrian Gray, who only returned on the Pro Tour in January, said he was not yet strong enough to keep up with his opponents and that the level went up and up over the last five years he had been absent from the tour.

The Unibet Home Tour continues on Thursday night with Group Seven, which will German Gabriel Clemens compete with Jelle Klaasen, Ryan Meikle and Gavin Carlin.
