Austrian Dietmar Burger played from 2002 - 2007 in the WDF/BDO and won a couple of Open tournaments.
In 2008 he started to take part in tournaments by the GDC and won the very first he took part in - the tournament in Cologne.
He never again played as successful and slipped down in the GDC Rankings.
When the GDC became th PDC Europe and the GDC Ranking with its series of Ranking Tournaments was replaces by the
European Order of Merit and a few PDC Players Championships Burger withdrew.
Burger managed to qualify for the PDC World Championship 2011 by winning the East European Qualifier.
