Rune David plays since 2006 on the BDO Circuit. In 2012 he caused a sensation when he eliminated Martin Adams under the last 32 of the Winmau World Masters from the tournament. But David himself already lost next round.
By the International Play Offs David qualified 2013 for the BDO World Championship but lost first round to Wesley Harms.
Runes sister Rachna plays darts as well. The family comes from an Indian origin.
