Gawlas, one of the biggest talents in Czech darts, appeared 2019 on the European Tour when he qualified for the Austrian Darts Open. In the same year he reached the final of the PDC Unicorn World Youth Championship where he lost to Luke Humphries. By this he qualified for the Grand Slam of Darts 2020 but didn't survive the Group Phase. He took part together with Karel Sedlacek in the PDC World Cup as well.
2020 he entered the European Qualifying School without success. He returned in 2021 and this time got a Tour Card.
