Welshman Mike Gillet plays for many years and with some breaks mainly WDF tournaments though he played a few Pro Tour events as well and took part in the PDC Qualifying School in 2022 and 2022 without success. His so far only tournament win he celebrated in 2016 when he won the British International. 2009, 2025, 2022 and 2024 he took part in the World Masters. 2023 Gillet for the first time qualified for the WDF World Championships but lost first round to German Liam Maendl-Lawrance. 2024 he will be again in Lakeside, this time as replacement for Wesley Plaisier who decided to play the PDC World Championship.
