Adrian Gray plays on the PDC Circuit since 2003; he had started to play darts when he was 19. His first appearance in a televised tournament he made during the UK Open 2003. 2005 he reached the second round of the Las Vegas Desert Classics. 2006 he qualified for the first time for the PDC World Championship and lost second round against Darren Webster. 2007 he qualified for the World Matchplay and the World Grand Prix where he caused an upset when he won first round against Phil Taylor.
During the following years you didn't hear much from Gray. He took part in the PDC World Championships 2008 and 2009 but was both times eliminated first round. He dropped down in the rankings and had to win himself a Tour Card in Qualifying School 2012 to be able to take part in the Pro Tour. 2013 he once again qualified for the UK Open and lost fourth round to Phil Taylor.
For some time Gray disappeared form the PDC stage and lost his Tour Card. 2019 he took part in Qualifiying School and regained a Tour Card by the Qualifying Schoool Order of Merit.
