Welshman Rhys Griffin appeared 2012 for the first time on the PDC Youth Tour. 2014 he qualified for the UK Open but lost first round. In the following years he could be found on the - by now - Development Tour where he reached his first final 2015. 2017 Griffin stood in the semi-finals of the Dutch Open. 2018 he took part for the first time and without success in the PDC Qualifying School and played onward both the PDC Development and the PDC Challenge Tour. He again qualified for the UK Open and this time reached the third round. 2024 Griffin again took part in Qualifying School and this time got a Tour Card His first year on Circuit was unobtrusive but in November Griffin qualified for the PDC World Championship 2024/25 by the PDPA Qualifier.
