John Gwynne was born 1945 in England and he worked twenty years as a teacher before he became a sports commentator.
First he worked for BBC and commentated Lancashire cricket and rugby.
Then he changed to Sky sports where he commentates the PDC darts tournaments and on Saturday is the football(soccer) specialist. In 2013 Gwynne withdrew from Sky sports commentating.
John Gwynne writes a monthly column for "Darts World" and is renowned as after dinner speaker and Toastmaster.
