Corrinne Hammond started to play darts in 2000 and after two years began to play competitive. Already in the same year she represented New South Wales in the Australian Championship. Her breakthrough came in 2007 when she won the Australian Central Coast Classic, her first Major tournament and by further success she was Australia's number 1 at the end of the year. As well in 2007 she for the first time was nominated for the Australian national team.
While an undisputed force in Australian darts who won a lot of tournaments international her biggest success so far were the semi-finals of the Women's WDF World Cup singles in 2013. In 2016 Hammond played some tournaments in Europe staring with the BDO World Championship in Lakeside. Due to her successes she again qualified for the BDO World Championship 2017, this time as a seeded player.
