Wesley Harms won the BDO International Open in 2011 and had some success in other Open tournaments. So he qualified as a seeded player 2012 for his first BDO
World Championship. He took part till 2020 in each BDO World Championship reaching the semi-finals 2012 and 2013. 2020 he entered the World Championship as the number 1 seed. His best results in a big BDO/WDF tournament came 2013 when he won the WDF World Cup Singles. Beside he won several smaller BDO and WDF events. 2012, 2018 and 2019 he was invited to the Grand Slam and stood 2012 and 2018 among the Last 16. After the BDO World Championship 2020 Harms decided to switch to the PDC and managed to get a Tour Card in Qualifying School.
