Belgian dart player Kim Huybrechts played the BDO circuit since 2006 before in 2011 he switched to the PDC. His biggest success in the BDO was a
place under the last 16 of the Winmau World Masters 2009.
Since 2010 Huybrechts takes part in the PDC Pro Tour Events organised by the PDC Europe. 2010 he for the first time reached a quarterfinal, 2011
he reached the semi-final in Vienna and managed to qualify for the European Championship. He played himself into the quarterfinals where he lost
against Adrian Lewis. He qualified for the PDC World Championship 2012 and reached at his debut the quarterfinals. Huybrechts took part in every PDC World Championship since than but this quarterfinal is till today his best result. Huybrechts reached several good results in other tournaments over the years but never showed consitently really good performances. By now he is outside the top 32 of the PDC Order of Merit.
Huybrechts comes from an in Belgium well-known family of dart players, his older brother Ronny is quite successful as well and both together played several times in the Belgian national team. Ronny played some time on the Pro Tour as well but lost his Tour Card after a few years.
