Ryan Joyce played from 2013 - 2018 on the BDO Circuit. His best year was 2017. He had qualified for the BDO World Championship but lost First Round to Martin Adams. Later in the year he won the BDO Gold Cup.
2018 Joyce took part in the PDC Qualifying School and got a Tour Card. In his first Players Championship he reached the Semi-Finals. Besides he qualified for several European Tour Events but till now never survived the Second Round. Thanks to his achievements on the Pro Tour he qualified for the PDC World Championship 2019 and sensational reached the quarterfinals where he lost to Michael van Gerwen. Since then he qualified for every World Championship but never got father than the second round.
