The young Dutchman Geert Nentjes was 12 when he started to play darts. With 16 he took part in his first tournaments. Since 2016 Nentjes plays on the PDC Development tour. In the same year he qualified for the PDC Unicorn World Youth Championship where he reached the last 32. 2018 he tried to get a tour Card in Qualifying School but didn't succeed. So he still plays the Development Tour. He had a good year and reached three finals. Nentjes ended the season on the second place of the ranking and by this got a Tour Card and qualified for the PDC World Championship 2019. Nentjes lost first round to Nathan Aspinall. Now Nentjes plays both the Development Tour and the Pro Tour but till now is much more successful on the Development Tour. By the Development Tour Order of Merit he qualified for the PDC World Championship 2020 as well and this time lost first round to Kim Huybrechts.
Nentjes lost his Tour Card end of 2020 but won it back immediately - he won on the second day of the European Qualifying School 2021.
