Nigel Pearson was born in 1970 in York and today lives in Staffordshire.
Pearson - who always wanted to be a sports journalist - today works as journalist, radio commentator and sports commentator for several radio and TV broadcasts.
Beside he writes columns for newspapers.
At the beginning he concentrated on speedway and soccer, since 2007 he started to comment PDC darts tournaments, first the Grand Slam on ITV, then the PDC World Championship on Sky Sports. He commentated the Championship League Darts as well.
Pearson worked freelance in the beginning, today he's employed by Sky Sports.
Pearson passed away suddenly on 15. April 2022 aged only 52.
