Italian Francesco Raschini took part in the Italian Grand Masters 2010 for the first time and played
in it with varying degrees of success over the following years. 2011 he stood in the quarterfinals -
his so far best placing. 2019 he took part in the PDC Qualifying School but couldn't get a Tour Card.
But he became more an more involved in the WDF/BDO circuit and reached 2020 the semifinals of the
Slovak Masters. 2021 he war even more in attendace and enjoyed several more good placings. By this
he moved up in the WDF rankings and qualified qualify as first ever Italian for the WDF World
Championship 2022. He lost at his debut in front of cameras on the big stage his first match 1:2
against Ryan de Vreede.
