Lerena Rietbergen started as a youth player in 2014 and first mainly played on the WDF/NDO Circuit. 2015 she won the girl's event of the Luxembourg Open. It took till 2019 before she won a second event - the German Open Girl's.2017 she was part of the successful Girl's national team Netherlands. 2019 and 2020 Rietbergen played some Development Tour events , now she from time to time plays on the Women's Series as well. But Rietbergen concentrates mainly on WDF tournament and in 2024 she won five events. When several players withdrew from the WDF World Champion 2024 Rietbergen moved in. It will be her first World Championship.
