Young Irishman Josh Rock become known when he reached in 2021 the final of the Winmau Irish Open Classic and
defeated on the way there in the semi-finals the WDF number 1 Brian Raman. Beside he played himself into the
quarterfinals of the Irish Open. So even before the Qualifying School started he was thought a good bet for a
Tour Card. And indeed he won one of the automatic Tour Cards as the day winner of day four of the final stage of
the PDC Qualifying School 2022. Rock played 2022 both the Development Tour and on the Pro Tour. In 2022
he won five Development Tour Events and one Pro Tour Event. Beside he won the PDC Youth World Championship and
qualified for the PDC World Championship 2022/23, lost under the Last 16 to Nathan Aspinall. He qualified for the Grand Slam 2022 where he lost despite a nine-darter in the k.o. phase to
Michael van Gerwen. Not many highlights followed after that before in 2024 he finally won two Players championships and won European Tour title. 2025 he reached the semi-finals of the UK Open
and won together with Daryl Gurney the PDC World Cup for Northern Ireland.
