Callan Rydz is one of the upcoming PDC players. He began his career as successful youth player in the BDO - in 2014 he won the youth event of the finder Darts Masters. Since 2016 Rydz plays on the PDC Development Tour as well. 2017 he for the first time but without success took part in the PDC Qualifying School. So he joined the Challenge Tour and took part in several European Tour Qualifiers. 2018 he again tried Qualifying School and again failed. The same happened again in 2019. By the amateur qualifiers he qualified for the UK Open but lost his first match. He won his first Development Tour event. Rydz moved up in a Players Championship and reached the quarterfinals. Later he won two events of the Challenge Tour . Hence he ended the season on the first place of the Challenge Tour Order of Merit and by this finally got his Tour Card. At the PDC World Championship 2020 he gave his debut and has since qualified for every PDC World Championship.
