Czech Karel Sedlacek played from 2007 - 2017 on the BDO/WDF Circuit and qualified 2014 and 2915 for the BDO World Championship. 2015 he lost in the first round against Glen Durrant but played with 99.58 the highest average of the first round.
2017 he won the qualifier for the PDC World Cup and represented together with Frantisek Humpula the Czech Republic. 2018 he took part in the PDC Qualifying School but didn't get a Tour Card. Sedlacek again took part in the World Cup this time together with Roman Benicky. By the PDC European Tour Eastern Qualifier he qualified for his first European Tour event - the Dutch Darts Championship. He won the East European Qualifier for the PDC World Championship 2019 and gave his debut as second player from the Czech Republic ever taking part. He lost to Keegan Brown. 2019 Sedlacek qualified twice for European Tour events. In January 2020 Sedlacek returned to PDc Qualifying School and this time he got his Tour Card. Sedlacek qualified for the PDC World Championship 2021 but lost First Round to Ryan Joyce.
