Australian Raymond Smith is playing darts since he was 18 but it took some time before he started to play regularly. 2013 he won the Australian Mixed Doubles and since then moves up the rankings. In 2015 he won his first tournaments on the Australian Circuit and qualified for the BDO World Championship in Lakeside for the first time. His season in 2016 was almost as good - among oathers he reached the last 32 of the Winmau World Masters - and he will return to Lakeside for the Preliminary Round of the BDO World Championship 2017.
