German Niko Springer started his career 2019 on the PDC Development Tour. 2021 he for the first time took part in the PDC Qualifying School but didn't get a Tour Card. The same happened again in 2023 and 2024. In those years Springer's main interest was not the Tour Card but to be able to play on the Challenge Tour and to take part in all European Tour Qualifiers. 2021 Springer for the first time reached a Developmen Tour final and qualified by the ranking for the PDC World Youth Championship and the UK Open but lost already first round in the UK Open.
2022 Springer qualified for two European Tour Events, 2023 for another. Beside he played the PDC Europe Super League Darts and 2024 in the first edition of the PDC Europe Next Gen. At the end of the sesaon he headed both the Main Ranking and the Youth Ranking. In the same year he celebrated three wins on the PDC Development Tour, stood end of the season on the second place of the ranking and by this both qualified for the PDC World Championship 2024/25 and got a Tour Card.
