Thibaul Tricole is the best known French darts player. He started to play darts when he was 13 and with 15 he won the FFD youth title. Since 2010 he plays mostly BDO and WDF tournaments. 2019 he for the first time took part in Qualifying School but couldn't win a Tour Card. In the same year he reached his first tournament finals and won both the Torremolinos Open and the Greece Open. At the World Masters he stood among the Last 32 and he qualified as first Frenchman ever for the BDO World Championship where he lost at his debut in the first round to Scotsman Ryan Hogarth.
2020 and 2021 followed two more failed attempts at Qualifying School. After the Qualifying School 2021 Tricole played a few Challenge Tour events and won beside the Denmark Open the prestigiuos Welsh Open. By now he sits in the second place of the WDF ranking and will take part as a seed in the WDF World Championship.
