Young Dutchman Wouter Vaes played as a youth player several years from 2009 - 2012 on the BDO Circuit before he changed from 2012 - 2015 to the PDC. 2015 he returned to the BDO. Till now he reached only one final - the final of the Austria Open 2016 where he was defeated by German Robert Allenstein.
Despite he has never won a tournament till now he managed to qualify for the BDO World Championship 2017.
