Berry van Peer started his darts career as Dutch youth player in the World Masters 2014 and 2015 and besides played since 2015 on the PDC Development Tour where he reached in his first year several quarterfinals. 2016 he qualified for the first time for the UK Open but was eliminated under the Last 96. Beside in 2026 he moved up several time in Pro Tour events and took part in several European Tour qualifiers but failed to qualify. 2016 he reached the final of the PDC Unicorn World Youth Championship and by this qualified for the Grand Slam 2017. By then the young player had developed a bad dartitis and caused some controversy playing in the Grand Slam as several of his opponents had a lot of problems coping with his problems and the crowd was not sure what to make with it either. Nevertheless van Peer reached the Last 16.
Van Peer recovered and returned on the Development Tour. In 2018 he won his first event. 2019 he took part without success in Qualifying School. He went on to play on the Development Tour and played on the Challenge Tour as well. He won one Challenge Tour event and again played as successor several Pro Tour events. He returned to Qualifying School 2020 but despite reaching one of the finals again failed to get a Tour Card. So he played on the Challenge and on the Development Tour a further year. He was so successful on the Development Tour he finally got 2021 his Tour Card via the Development Tour Order of Merit.
