In 2010 Jimmy van Schie for the first time took part in a PDC Players Championship, but lost his first match. 2012 van Schie played some events of the PDC Development Tour
(at that time still PDC Youth Tour). One year later he was among the participants of the Dutch Open and reached the Last 32. After that he for some time took a break from
international darts and reappeared 2021 in the Western Europe Qualifier for the PDC World Championship. 2022 he took part in the PDC Qualifying School but couldn't get a Tour
Card. He failed again in 2023 and 2024. He played on the Challenge Tour and in 2024 won one event. Several times he was a replacement on the Pro Tour.
2024 van Schie had a
very good year on the WDF Circuit - he won the Romanain Classic, together with Jeroen Mioch he reached the pairs final of the Dutch Open and the final of the Denmark Open,
won the Swiss Open, the Catalonia Open, the Italian Grand Masters, the Belfrey Open, the Hungarian Classic and the Czech Open. By this van Schie is the number 2 seed of
the WDF World Championship. He nevertheless played the Western Europe Qualifier for the PDC World Championship but lost in the final against Stefan Bellmont. So, van Schie
will give his World Championship debut at the WDF World Championship in Lakeside.
