Young Dutchman Danny van Trijp started his career on the BDO Circuit before he in 2019 for the first time took part in the PDC Qualifying Tour. He couldn't get a Tour Card, but managed to qualify as Associated Member for several European Tour events. He lost every time already in the first round. In the same year he for the first time moved up into a Pro Tour event as well. Van Trijp tried his luck in Qualifying School several more times but always failed. So he played on the Development Tour and the Challenge Tour and from time to time moved up on the Pro Tour. On the Challenge Tour van Trijp was so successful that he qualified by the Challenge Tour Order of Merit for the PDC World Championship 2022/2023 and even finally won his Tour Card.
2022 van Trijp stood in the semi-finals of the WDF Europe Cup.
