Fin Kim Viljanen played since 199 on the WDF/BDO circuit and won as a boy in 1999 the boy's singles of the WDF World Cup. 2004 he reached the last 32 of the Winmau World Masters and in 2005 he was member of the winning national team of Finland in the WDF World Cup.

Since 2014 Viljanen plays on the Scandinavian Circuit of the SDC. He qualified by the ranking for the PDC World Championship 2015 but lost to German Sascha Stein in preliminary round. 2015 he won three of the SDC events and again qualified for the PDC World Championship. This time he lost to Kevin Painter in the first round. 2015 Viljanen and Marko Kantele were team Finland of the PDC World Cup. They lost their firt match to team South Africa. In 2016 again Viljanen and Kantele will represent Finland in the PDC World Cup.
