Englishman Conan Whitehead started as a youth to play darts and played on the BDO circuit from 2007 - 2011. He then switched to the PDC but returned to the BDO after he had lost his Tour Card 2016. In 2009 he won his so far only tournament - the Kent Open but after his return to the BDO he was the runner-up of the England Open 2016 and played quite a good 2016. So he managed to qualify for the BDO World Championship 2017 where he lost at his debut against Darius Labanauskas. 2018 he reached the Last 16
of the World Championship and won his group in the Finder Darts Masters. In 2019 he again took part in the BDO World Championship and this time reached the quarterfinals. Whitehead decided to return to the PDC and took part in Qualifying School 2019 and got his Tour Card, so far he is not really successful on the Pro Tour.
