Yuki Yamada qualified 2015 for the PDC Japan Masters and lost to Gary Anderson. 2017he took part without success in the PDC Qualifying School and in the UK Open Qualifiers. Later in the yeasr he represented together with Haruki Muramatsu Japan in the PDC World Cup of Darts. 2019 Yamada won one of the PDC Asian events and ended on fifth place of the ranking. Normally the top four of the ranking qualify for the PDC World Championship but as Seigo Asada was already qualified otherwise Yamada moved up and will give his debut in the PDC World Championship 2020.
As many other players from Asia Yuki Yamada plays soft darts as well.
