The LDO

The LDO - Ladies Darts Organisation - was founded 2012 by Julie Lambie to promote ladies darts.
Before Lambie founded the LDO she was active in Lincolnshire County Darts and played in the BDO. Today she is CEO and Chairwoman of the LDO. The LDO is recognised both by the BDO and the WDF and is sponsered by Winmau. By now it has members from England, Switzerland, Holland, Iceland, the USA, Belgium, Canada, Poland, Germany, Denemark, Finland, Sweden and France - often the top players of those countries.
The annual membership is 12 pound for which you get reduced entrance fees for many tournaments and discounts for several darts suppliers and take part four times a year in a cash raffle.

The Board looks at the moment like this:
Julie Lambie, Ceo and Chairwomen
Dez Jacklin, Vice Chairman
Liz Fletcher-Wright, Secretary
Julie Lambie, Treasurer
Paula Jacklin, Transport/Accomodation Officer
Gordon Lambie, Stage Manager
Karen Staton, Commitee
Jude Johnson, MC

The LDO organises tournaments only for ladies and girls and the number of participants increased over the years. As the organisation is recognised by the BDO and the WDF the players can collect ranking points for the respective rankings by taking part in the LDO tournaments.

In 2015 the LDO will host the Ladies Classic and the Ladies Swedish Classic.
