Russ Bray

Russ Bray was borne on 22. June 1957 in Shenley probably is because of his unmistakeable voice the best-known of all callers.

As with almost everybody else his career started by chance as well when a county referee didn't turn up and he was asked to call the match.
Russ Bray was a rather good dartplayer himself - he played county for Hertforshire, later some time the Pro Circuit and he won together with Erik Bristow the Norway and the Finland Pairs.

1996 during the Wold Matchplay in Blackpool he gave his PDC debut.
2002 he called the match during which Phil Taylor threw the first World Matchplay Nine-Darter.

Russ Bray works with some of the PDC players on the exhibition circuit and his voice helped him to get some advertisement scenes.
Bray is a member of Team Unicorn and has got his own signature darts.
Russ Bray is married and lives with his wife and four children in Welwyn Garden City.
