Heike Ernst, now Jenkins, was for a long time the dominating female German darter. She started to play darts 1983 with the
1.DSC Bochum and won her first ranking tournament in January 1987. She is member of the German national team and she was
for years ranked number 1. 17 times she took part in the Winmau World Masters for Germany.
In 2006 she announced she now would only play for fun from time to time but she returned in 2007 and still is very successful.
