Ted Hankey is one of the bad boys in the dart scene who from time to time showed unsporting behavior on stage
and with the crowd he has some kind of love-hate relationship.
Hankey plays in the BDO since 1994. He could win several Open titles, reached three times the semifinals of
the Winmau World Masters and was the BDO World Champion 200 and 2009.
Hankey was invited to play the Grand Slam of Darts and liked the experience. So in 2012 - after he had lost in the semi-finals of the BDO World Championship -
he was the only one to accept the PDC Tour Card offered to all BDO World Championship semifinalists.
Hankey's walk-on as Count Dracula throwing plastic bats in the crowd is one of the most spectacular walk-ons.
