Karin Krappen started to play darts in 1991 and plays since 2002 on the BDO circuit. In 2003 she qualified for the first time for the BDO Women World Championship, to which she returned in 2004, 2005 and 2009. Her biggest successes so far were the win of the World Darts Trophy in 2005 and her World Masters win in 2007. Over the last years one didn't hear much about her but in 2013 she came back and qualified for the World Championship 2014.
