Dave Prins plays the BDO Circuit since 2005. Till 2012 he was well-known for using the 40 years old darts of his father when standing at the oche. Since 2012 he's got new darts done to his own design.
Prins first success was a place in the last 16 of the Winmau World Masters in 2009. In 2010 he took part for the first time in the BDO World Championship. He qualified the following years again, but always lost first round. In 2013 it was an especially unlucky loss as he missed seven matchdarts in his match against Richie George. .
