Darren Webster played from 2003 - when he qualified for the first time for the UK Open in Bolton - till 2010 the PDC Pro Circuit. His best result in those years was reaching the quarterfinals of the PDC World Championship 2007 where he lost against Phil Taylor. After the UK Open 2010 he took a break from the PDC Circuit. In 2012 he took part in Qualifiying School and since than again plays the PDC Pro Tour and the PDC European Tour. After some very consistent years in which he qualified for many Major events - for example he reached the semi-finals of the Players Champiponship Finals in 2016 - 2018 and 2019 were not so good for Webster who has got the nickname "Demolition Man" since a 6:0 win over Phil Taylor on the Pro Tour 2016. It started to look brighter for Webster when he reached in November 2019 the Last 16 of the Grand Slam of Darts.
