Price wins in Manchester
The ninth Premier League night in Manchester was dominated by Gerwyn Price who prevailed in the final 6:2 over Gian van Veen and collected his second day win. Price reached the final with wins over Luke Humphries and Stephen Bunting and had in all his matches an average of over 100, against Bunting even one over 112. Gian van Veen progressed into his already fourth final of the season by defeating Luke Littler and Josh Rock.
Luke Humphries, Jonny Clayton, Michael van Gerwen and Luke Littler didn't get points in Manchester.

European Tour
Kim Huybrechts was the only player who qualified by the European Tour qualifiers in Leicester both for the European Tour event in Sindelfingen and the European Tour event in Graz. For Sindelfingen qualified besides Rob Cross, Jurjen van der Velde, Mickey Mansell, Jeffrey de Zwaan, Raymond van Barneveld, Oskar Lukasiak, Maik Kuivenhoven, Madars Razma and Keane Barry. For Graz it were Rob Owen, Michael Smith, James Hurrell, Ian White, Nick Kenny, Chris Landman, Cristo Reyes, Gabriel Clemens and Alan Soutar.

The ninth Premier League night will be played tomorrow in Manchester.
Michael van Gerwen will play in the opening match against Stephen Bunting. In the second quarterfinal Luke Humphries and Gerwyn Price will clash - Humphries is still in the hunt for a first day win. DAfter that Gian van Veen will play head of the table Luke Littler and in the fourth quarterfinal Jonny Clayton and Josh Rock will stand on stage.

Wins for Searle and Nijman in Leicester
The two Players Championships in Leicester were won by Ryan Searle and Wessel Nijman.
Searle won on Monday the seventh Players Championship - he defeated Alan Soutar 8:3 in the final. In the semi-finals stood Gary Anderson and Keane Barry.
On Tuesday Wessel Nijman won the eighth Players Championship - he prevailed in the final 8:4 over Joe Cullen. The semi-finals reached Kevin Doets and Sebastian Bialecki.

PDC Events in Leicester
Today and tomorrow in Leicester the Players Championships 7 and 8 will take place.
On Wednesday the Tour Card Holder Qualifiers for the European Tour Events five and six in Sindelfingen and Graz, Austria, will follow.

PDC Challenge Tour
At the weekend five Challenge Tour Events took place in Leicester. There were five different winners. Derek Coulson and Daniel Klose won the two events on Friday - for both it was the first title on the Challenge Tour. On Saturday Ted Evetts and Florian Preis were the winner - afor Preis it was the maiden title as well. And on Saturday we did see with Nathan Potter another first time winner.

Nordic und Baltic Tour
The Nordic and Baltic Tour played at the weekend as well - in Riga wurden the Pro Tour Events 3 + 4 and the Qualifiers for European Tour Events 4, 5 and 6 took place. The two Pro Tour Events wwere won by Dane Jonas Sörensen - who took part for the first time in a Nordic and Baltic Event - uand by Norwegian Cor Dekker. Anton Östlund qualified for the European Tour Events 4 and 6, Valters Mederis for the European Tour Event 5.

Littler wins in Berlin as well
Luke Littler domininated the eighth League Day in Berlin, progressed with wins over Stephen Bunting and Gerwyn Price into the final and defeated there an as well strong playing Michael van Gerwen with 6:4. Van Gerwen defeated on his way to the final first Luke Humphries and then Josh Rock who had won his first two points for the table with a quarterfinals win over Jonny Clayton. Littler now heads the table followed by Clayton and Price. Van Gerwen and Humphries switched their places in the table - now van Gerwen sits on the fourth Play-Off place..

For the eigth League Day Premier League travels today to Berlin.
Head of the table Jonny Clayton opens the night against the still pointless Josh Rock. After that Luke Humphries will meet Michael van Gerwen. In the third quarterfinal Luke Littler will play against Stephen Bunting before in the last quarterfinal Gerwyn Price and Gian van Veen will clash.

Greaves dominates Women's Series
Beau Greaves continues to dominate the PDC Women's Series - she won at the weekend in Wigan three of the four events. Only in Women's Series Event 5 she was already eliminated second round by Fallon Sherrock. Both players averaged over 100 in the match. But in the end it was not Sherrock who won the event - she was defeated 5:3 by Lisa Ashton in the final. Event 6 was won by Greaves with 6:0 against Gemma Hayter and she went on to win events 7 and 8 as well - event 7 against Fallon Sherrock and event 8 against Rhian O'Sullivan. Greaves heads the Women's Series Ranking by far followed by Lisa Ashton and Fallon Sherrock.

Humphries wins Belgian Darts Open
With an 8:6 win over Jonny Clayton in the final Luke Humphries claimed in Wieze his ninth European Tour title. Humphries was the deserved winner though he at times experienced some double trouble - especially in his quarterfinal against Chris Dobey. Beside Dobey Humphries defeated on Finals day in the third round Jermaine Wattimena and in his semi-final Michael van Gerwen. Clayton reached the final with wins over Ross Smith, Andy Baetens and Niels Zonneveld - in a close match in which both players had missed matchdarts. Reigning champion Luke Littler was eliminated third round by Zonneveld.

European Tour
On the third day of the Belgian Darts Open the tournament will be played to the end. In the afternoon session the third round will be played, in the evening session quarterfinals, semi-finals and final will follow.
Due to wins over Stephen Bunting and Josh Rock Belgians Andy Baetens and Kim Huybrechts still in the tournament and will play in round 3 against Martin Schindler and Chris Dobey respectively. Reigning champion Luke Littler is as well among the players who progressed into the third round - he defeated Boris Krcmar with an 104.70 average 6:2.

Second day of the Belgian Darts Open in Wieze. In an afternoon- and an evening-session the second round will be played in which the first round winners will play against the seeds.
Two of the Home Nation Qualifiers survived the first round - Andy Baetens and Kim Huybrechts. Huybrechts impressed with an 101.76 average. He defeated Niko Springer with 3:6 while Baetens prevailed in a close match 6:5 against the strong playing Joe Cullen.

Today the third European Tour Event of the year will begin in Wieze - the Belgian Darts Open. As always on the first day of the tournament for the first round only qualifiers will stand at the oche.
From the seeds Gary Anderson, Gerwen Price and Gian van Veen withdrew before the draw. For them Jermaine Wattimena, Damon Heta and Mike de Decker move up among the seeds and their places in the qualifiers will be filled with Ricky Evans, Mickey Mansell and Ian White from the from the reserve list. Littler celebrates second Day win in Dublin
With an unbelievable comeback Luke Littler got in Dublin his second day win. Littler already was 0:5 behind against a commanding Gerwyn Price when the Welshman started to lost his grip on the doubles. Littler used his chance and won the match 6:5. Littler reached the final with wins over Stephen Bunting and Michael van Gerwen, Price defeated on his way there Josh Rock and Luke Humphries.

Tomorrow the seventh League Day of Premier League will be played in Dublin.
The opening quarterfinal is an all Dutch affair - Gian van Veen will meet Michael van Gerwen. After that Stephen Bunting will play against world champion Luke Littler. In the third quarterfinal the still pointless Josh Rock will clash with Gerwyn Price and in the last quarterfinal head of the table Jonny Clayton will play against reigning champion Luke Humphries, who so far sits not on a Play-Off place.

WDF News
The WDF World Masters will take place this year for the very first time in Las Vegas - from 14. - 19. July.
At the Isle of Man Open Jack Drayton and Gemma Hayter won the titles. Die Isle of Man Classic were won by Moreno Blom and Leanne Topper, the youth events were won by Ben Townley and Marcy Gibbons. Winner of the Isle of Man Masters was Reece Colley. The International Youth Challenge in Wien boy's title was won by Bela Jamas, the U 23 title went to Peter Keleman. The girl's title won Zehra Gemi and the U 23 winner was Malte Navamuel.
The Australian West City Open were won by Ben Robb and Nicole Regnaud. The youth titles got Johnny Parker and Sophie Beaumont.

Nijman wins in Goettingen
With a 8:3 win over Gerwyn Price - to whom he had lost in the fifth round of the UK Open - Wessel Nijman won his first European Tour title. Nijman had in all his matches on Finals Day an average of over 100 and was quite clinical on his doubles. He reached the final with wins over Gian van Veen, Josh Rock and Niels Zonneveld. Price defeated on his way to the final Danny Noppert, Dirk van Duijvenbode and Damon Heta.

European Tour
Today is the third and last day of the European Darts Trophy and the tournament will be played to the end in an afternoon- and an evening-session. In the afternoon the third round will be played, tonight quarterfinals semi-finals and final will follow.
From all the host nation players only Niko Springer survived the second round. He defeated Stephen Bunting 6:5 and will play in the afternoon -session today against Ross Smith. Several seeds were eliminated - beside Bunting and Martin Schindler among others Michael van Gerwen who lost in the best match of the second round 2:6 to Niels Zonneveld.

On the second day of the European Darts Trophy the second round will be played in an afternoon -and an evening-session. The first round winners will play against the seeds.
With Lukas Wenig, Paul Krohne and Niko Springer three of the German qualifiers survived the first round. Seed Martin Schindler will join them today. Highlights of the first round were an 117.12 average from Kevin Doets at his 6:0 win over Jonas Masalin and an unbelievable comeback of Dave Chisnall against Jeffrey de Zwaan. Chisnall already was 0:5 behind but won six legs in a row to win 6:5.

Today in Göttingen the second European Tour Event of the year will begin - the European Darts Trophy. As always on the first day of the tournament for the first round only qualifiers will stand at the oche.
From the seeds Gary Anderson, James Wade and Nathan Aspinall withdrew before the draw. For them Jermaine Wattimena, Rob Cross and Mike de Decker move up among the seeds and their places in the qualifiers will be filled with Mensur Suljovic, Keane Barry and Lukas Wenig from the reserve list. Humphries and Clayton withdrew after the draw. They will be directly replaced by Karel Sedlacek and Cam Crabtree as seeds. By the Host Nation Qualifier Florian Preis, Florian Hempel, Dragutin Horvat and Paul Krohne qualified for the event.

Clayton wins in Nottingham
With a 6:1 defeat of Luke Humphries Jonny Clayton secured in Nottingham his second day win of the season. By this the Welshman expanded his lead as head of the table to eight points. Clayton reached the final with wins against Michael van Gerwen and Stephen Bunting, Humphries defeated Gian van Veen and Luke Littler to progress into his first final of this year's Premier League.
In Nottingham Josh Rock, Michael van Gerwen, Gian van Veen and Gerwyn Price couldn't win points.

For the sixth league day Premier League travels tomorrow to Nottingham.
In the first quarterfinal the two players last in the table Josh Rock and Stephen Bunting will clash and Rock hopes that after his good UK Open campaign he will get his first points in Premier League. Littler defends Title
As in the last year Luke Littler and James Wade met in the final of the UK Open and again Littler defeated Wade - this time 11:7 - not as clear as last year. Before Littler won an Finals Day first against Danny Noppert and after that in the semi-finals Josh Rock - who in parts had been in the lead but gave it away. Wade defeated in the quarterfinal Rob Cross and after that in the probably best match of the tournament with an outstanding performance the as well strong playing Gerwyn Price.

The second day of the UK Open
As can be assumed reading the title the article deals with the second day of the tournament on which the fifth and sixth round of the tournament was played. There were no upsets in the fifth round but in round six some players were eliminated who belonged to the extended circle of favourites.

On the second day of the UK Open the fifth and sixth round were played and the field of participants was reduced to eight. In the fifth round among others Peter Wright and Wessel Nijman were eliminated. In the sixth round we did see quite some surprising results and in the end it were Jonny Clayton, Rob Cross, Gerwyn Price, Josh Rock, Luke Littler, James Wade, Krzysztof Ratajski and Danny Noppert who progressed into the quarterfinals.

The first day of the UK Open
My second UK Open article deals with the first day of the tournament - a long and quite eventful day on which neither a clear crowd favourit nor a clear favourite for the title emerged. One can only state that all amateur qualifiers were out after the first day and that probably players from the Top 32 of the World Ranking will determine the goings-on of the next two days.

The first day of the UK Open was a long day of darts with many good and close matches and a nine-darter from Danny Noppert in round 4. With the exception of Gian van Veen all Premier League players progressed into the fifth round though for Josh Rock and as well Michael van Gerwen it was a battle. Some big names were eliminated - among them Raymond van Barneveld who had no chance in round 4 against Wessel Nijman and lost with 1;10.

Littler wins in Cardiff
Luke Littler got with a 6:4 win over Jonny Clayton in Cardiff his first day win of the season. Clayton stayed nevertheless at the head of the table and expanded his lead. Littler prevailed on his way to the final over Josh Rock and Gerwyn Price, Clayton reached the final with wins against Gian van Veen and Luke Humphries.
Michael van Gerwen, Gian van Veen, Stephen Bunting and Josh Rock couldn't collect points in Cardiff.

Already for the second time Beau Greaves will stand at the UK Open oche this year - this time as a Tour Card Holder. Last year she impressed with her performances though she lost third round against Luke Humphries.

UK Open
After the Players Championships 5 and 6 it is known in which round the players will enter the tournment and the PDc announced the draw for the 1. - 3. round. The top 32 of the World Ranking will enter the tournament in round four and there will be another draw after round three is over. Each round will be drawn after the one before is complete. Among the players who will start there campaign in round three are with Peter Wright and Raymond van Barneveld two former UK Open Champions.

Bunting wins Premier League Night in Belfast
With a 6:2 win over Gian van Veen Stephen Bunting won after flawless performances the Premier League night in Belfast. On his way to the final hefirst defeated in the quarterfinals Luke Humphries with 6:4 and than in the semi-finals Jonny Clayton with 6:0. Van Veen prevailed first over Josh Rock and after that over Gerwyn Price. But nevertheless Josh Rock could celebrate with his home crowd - he lost against van Veen but threw a nine-darter in the match.
Josh Rock couldn't win points in Belfast neither did Luke Humphries, Luke Litter and Michael van Gerwen.

Ross Smith and Price win in Leicester
The two Players Championships in Leicester were won by Ross Smith and Gerwyn Price.
Ross Smith got the title of the fifth Players Championship with an 8:2 win over Chris Dobey. In the semi-finals stood Joe Cullen and Karel Sedlacek.
In the final of the sixth Players Championships Gerwyn Price defeated Andrew Gilding with 8:1. Here Jonny Clayton and Thibault Tricole reached the semi-finals.
During the sixth Players Championship Beau Greaves threw a historic nine-darter - as first woman ever on the Pro Tour she played a perfect leg. Beside Max Hopp threw a nine-darter.

Littler wins in Krakow
On the third day of the event the tournament was played to the end. In the afternoon-session the third round took place, in the evening-session quarterfinals, semi-finals and final were played.
Luke Littler defeated in the final Gian van Veen with 8:4 and crowned himself the very first Poland Darts Open Champion. Van Veen threw a nine-darter in the final, but Littler never was in danger to lose. In the semi-finals stood Luke Humphries and Chris Dobey.

Both Michael van Gerwen and Gerwyn Price withdrew due to medical reasons from the Poland Darts Open in Krakow. They are replaced by Michael Smith and Callum Rydz as seeded players.
Today the first round of the tournament was played and all Polish Host Nation qualifiers were eliminated. Among the other players who didn't survive the first round were Dirk van Duijvenbode and Damon Heta.

Clayton triumphs in Glasgow
An outstanding playing Jonny Clayton got the day win in Glasgow. He defeated in the final Gian van Veen with 6:2. On his way to the final Clayton for the first time in three years won against his fellow country man Gerwyn Price before he demolished Luke Littler. Van Veen reached the final with wins over Stephen Bunting and Luke Humphries.

Tomorrow in Krakow, Poland the first European Tour Event of the year - the Poland Darts Open - will begin. It will be the first time ever the European Tour comes to Poland. As always on the first day of the tournament for the first round only the qualifiers will stand at the oche.

Chris Dobey and Luke Humphries won the two Players Championships in Wigan.
In the third Players Championships of the year Chris Dobey got with an 8:1 win over Stephen Bunting the title. In the semi-finals stood Tom Bissell and James Wade.
Luke Humphries triumphed with an 8:6 win over Wessel Nijman in the fourth Players Championship. Here it were Gerwyn Price and Callan Rydz who reached the semi-finals.

On Monday and Tuesday in Wigan the Players Championships 3 and 4 will take place.
Following on on Wednesday will the Tour Card Holder Qualifiers for the European Tour Events 3 and vier in Wieze, Belgium, and Munic.

Price wins in Antwerp
The first ever League Day of Premier League in Belgium was won by Gerwyn Price who defeated Michael van Gerwen in the final with 6:2. Price reached the final with close 6:5 wins over Gian van Veen and Jonny Clayton while van Gerwen first defeated a weak Josh Rock and then Luke Littler.
Beside Rock and and van Veen Stephen Bunting and Luke Humphries couldn't win points in Antwerp.

PDC Premier League
Tonight for the first ever time Premier League comes to Belgium - the second League Day will be played in Antwerp.
Luke Littler and Luke Humphries will meet in tonight's first quarterfinal. After that Michael van Gerwen will clash with debutant Josh Rock. Jonny Clayton will play in the third quarterfinal against Stephen Bunting and in the fourth quarterfinal Gerwyn Price and Gian van Veen will stand on stage.

PDC European Tour
Yesterday in Hildesheim the Tour Card Holders Qualifiers for the European Tour Events 1 and 2 in Krakau and Göttingen were played. Cristo Reyes was the only who qualified for both events. Beside qualified among others for Krakow Jeffrey de Graaf, Connor Scutt and Marvin Kraft and for Göttingen Ritchie Edhouse, Shane MCGuirk and Ricky Evans.

Wins for Wade and Nijman
The first two Players Championships of the year were won by James Wade and Wessel Nijman.
Wade defeated in the final of the first Players Championship Nathan Aspinall with 8:6. In the semi-finals stood Michael van Gerwen and Adam Gawlas. Mickey Mansell threw the nine-darter of the day.
Wessel Nijman won the second Players Championship with a 8:7 win over Gerwyn Price, who played impressive all day. The semi-finals reached Krzysztof Ratajski and Ryan Searle. Gabriel Clemens and James Hurrell threw the nine-darters of the day.

PDC Nordic und Baltic Tour
The Nordic and Baltic Tour started as well into the season at the weekend - two Pro Tour Events and three European Tour Qualifiers were played in Riga. The Pro Tour Events were won by Cor Dekker and Jani Haavisto who is back on the tour and for the first time in twelve years won a title. For the European Tour Events qualified Andreas Harrysson (ET1), Jonas Masalin (ET2) and Jani Haavisto (ET3)

Greaves wins in Hildesheim
All four events of the PDC Women's Series in Hildesheim were won by Beau Greaves. Three times she won in the final against Lisa Ashton, once against Fallon Sherrock. Sherrock beside reached the quarterfinals of two events.
A lot of Germans stood at the oche in Hildesheim as well. The best results had Silvia Lindner, who stood in the quarterfinals of the first event. Both Michaela Gillert and Miriam Fiore once reached the Top 16.

Today and tomorrow in Hildesheim the first four events of the Women's Series will be played. On Monday and Tuesday the first two Players Championships will follow and on Wednesday the Tour Card Holders Qualifiers for the European Tour Events 1 and 2 in Krakow and Göttingen the PDC days in Hildesheim.

Van Gerwen wins in Newcastle
With a 6:2 win over his fellow country man Gian van Veen Michael van Gerwen got the day win on the first League Day of Premier League. Van Gerwen defeated on his way into the final Stephen Bunting and reigning champion Luke Humphries, who had big problems fo find the doubles in this match. Van Veen reached the final with wins over wld champion Luke Littler and Jonny Clayton.
Beside Bunting and Littler Josh Rock and Gerwyn Price didn't win points on the first League Day.

Tonight in Newcastle this year's Premier League will begin.
The quarterfinal between debutant Josh Rock and Jonny Clayton will open the tournament and the night. After that world champion Luke Littler will play against Gian van Veen who as well is a Premier League debutant. Reigning champion Luke Humphries will stand in the third quarterfinal against Gerwyn Price at the oche and in the last quarterfinal Stephen Bunting will play against Michael van Gerwen.

Littler wins World Masters
In a thrilling and close final Luke Littler defeated Luke Humphries with 6:5 and won the title. Littler had stormed into an early lead, Humphries managed to draw and then was 5:4 in front but in the end lost the match.
Littler reached the final with a clear win over Josh Rock and a narrow victory over Gerwyn Price while Humphries defeated on finals day first Danny Noppert and then Gian van Veen without losing a set.

PDC World Masters
An outstanding conclusion of the second round was last night the match between Luke Humphries and Luke Woodhouse which was hard fought to the end and in which Humphries threw a nine-darter. Humphries had been ahead 3:1 but Woodhouse managed to draw 3:3. After Humphries had squandered three matchdarts in the last set it was 1:1 and Humphries just managed to cross with his last dart in hand the finishing line first. But it was not the only had fought match - James Wade and Gerwyn Price as well won their matches in the deciding last leg while Chris Dobey won his deciding set with 2:0. No problems had Luke Littler and Josh Rock who both won 4:1, Danny Noppert even only lost a single leg to Stephen Bunting and the on his doubles quite clinical Gian van Veen won 4:2 against Nathan Aspinall who had a bad night on his doubles.
Today the tournament will be played to the end in an afternoon- and an evening-session - in the afternoon-session the quarterfinals will be played in the evening-session semi-finals and final will follow.
