Price wins Grand Slam
Gerwyn Price defeated in the final of the Grand Slam of Darts Peter Wright with 16:8 and for the third time won the title. Price dominated
the final against a tired looking Wright from the start. Price performed in bestform in contrast to his opponent. Only near the end of the match Price made a few mistakes and was no longer so clinical on his doubles
but Wright only managed with a 155 finish from nowhere to reduce the gap to 8:15 before Price completed his win in the next leg with a double 12.

Michael van Gerwen v Nathan Aspinall will be next - to be sure an interesting match. James Wade v Glen Durrant in the penultimate match - will Durrant able to step up his game? Price wins World Championship
In an disappointingly one-sided final Gerwyn Price defeated Gary Anderson with 7:3 and won his first World Champion title. While Price showed a similar strong performance as in his yesterday's semi-final against Stephen Bunting Anderson couldn't build on yesterday's showing and missed despite a 170 finish just too many darts on his doubles. So Price dominated the match from the start and now is the first Welsh PDC World Champion and the number 1 of the world.

PDC World Championship - Semi-Finals
Gerwyn Price and Gary Anderson will clash tomorrow in the final of the World Championship.
Gerwyn Price defeated in the first semi-final Stephen Bunting with 6:4. Both players showed a high class performance and Bunting was for a big part of the match an equal opponent. Both players impressed with many high finishes. In the last two sets Bunting couldn't keep up any longer while Price found another gear. Price deservedly for the first time reached the final of the World Championship.
The second semi-final was a high class affair as well and in the first six sets rather close though both players were not finishing as clinical as Bunting and Price. In the last three sets Chisnall failed to use his few chances and Anderson's win was uncontested.
Both winner averaged over - Price had an average of 100.92, Anderson one of 100.03.

PDC World Championship - Day 15
Tonight the two semi-finals will take place. First Stephen Buntingwill play against Gerwyn Price, after that Gary Anderson against Dave Chisnall.
Those are surprising semi-finals - many saw Gerwyn Price as a potential winner, but what about the other three players? Price stood with Sponsor William Hill on the second place of the possible winners, Gary Anderson on place eight - probably only because one never can write off Anderson but not from conviction - Dave Chisnall on place ten together with Ratajski, Cross and Whitlock and Stephen Bunting only on place seventeen together with Keane Barry and Ryan Joyce.
How the matches will end and who will progress into the final is not predictable. When you look at the Head-to-Head list, you'll see that Stephen Bunting and Gerwyn Price not really often played one another and that Price won five times and Bunting three times. Gary Anderson and Dave Chisnall on the other side met quite often and while Chisnall won only five of the matches Anderson won nineteen. But how significant this is in this crazy Corona times one can't even tell after all the matches the players already played in the World Championship...

PDC World Championship - Quarterfinals
The last of the quarterfinals ended with the biggest upset of this year's World Championship - Michael van Gerwen - number 1 seed and the number 1 of the world and for many the favourit to win the tournament - was destroyed 0:5 by an outstandingly playing Dave Chisnall. Chisnall showed the best performance of all players involved in the quarterfinals and fulfilled with his win Gary Anderson's wish, who mentioned after his win over Dirk van Duijvenbode he would be pleased to play in the semi-finals against Dave Chisnall as he would really indulge Chisnall a win as Chisnall is a player who takes his darts serious. Gary Anderson defeated van Duijvenbode similarily uncontested as Chisnall van Gerwen with 5:1.
In the afternoon beside Anderson Stephen Bunting progressed who seeems to get more and more assured and had not many problems against Krzystof Ratajski.Tonight beside Chisnall Gerwyn Price won his match - he defeated Dary Gurney in a hard fought quarterfinal which was only decided in the deciding leg of the ninth set.
